When I look at my daughter, I always think of the impact that I’m making on her. What values I’m instilling in her. If she’ll still think I’m the bee’s knees in 18 or more years.

I had the pleasure of photographing this session with Michele & Melinda, the mother-daughter team behind MBT Paralegal Services in the Washington, DC area. I knew then that it’s totally likely for my baby girl to think the world of me for decades to come. Their energy was that of best friends— palpable and contagious and I loved every moment of this session.

As a friend, celebrating one’s college graduation is a sweet, special moment. It’s even sweeter when your friends not only request that you be the one to take their grad photos, but travel hours to make it happen.
