Later this week, I get the honor of celebrating these two all over again. 🤍

Meg and Dom were married during the pandemic, when so many couples had to trade the weddings they originally envisioned for something smaller, quieter, and shaped by circumstances beyond their control. While their marriage has already been years in the making, their long-awaited celebration with family and friends is finally here.

And honestly? It feels exactly right that they’re doing it their way.

A day centered around the people they love most, gathering together to celebrate not just a wedding, but the life they’ve built since saying “I do.” No pressure to follow anyone else’s timeline or expectations—just a chance to be surrounded by their favorite people and create new memories together.

Of course, that includes the three pups who are such a big part of their family. Watching them run around during this session, steal the spotlight, and soak up all the attention made me even more excited to see them included in the festivities this weekend.

These photos feel like the perfect glimpse into what their celebration is all about: love, laughter, chosen traditions, and the family they’ve created together.

I cannot wait to document this well-deserved party and finally celebrate Meg and Dom the way they’ve always deserved. 🐾✨🤍

Our pets are never with us long enough, and as the years pass, the photos we have with them become some of our most treasured possessions. Senior pet sessions are about preserving more than what they look like—they’re about capturing who they are right now. Their quirky expressions, familiar routines, graying faces, and the love they’ve spent years giving so freely.

This session carried a little extra weight after this sweet boy received a diagnosis that reminded everyone just how precious time really is. We spent the evening celebrating him exactly as he is—still adventurous, still full of personality, still soaking up every moment with his favorite person.

One of the greatest joys for me has been seeing his little face continue to pop up on his mom’s social media since our session. Every update feels like a gift. Seeing him doing so well, enjoying life, and continuing to make memories with the people who love him most is something that makes my heart so happy.

These photographs aren’t just for today. They’re for years from now, when a familiar face, a sandy paw print, or that unmistakable expression becomes a doorway back to all the moments that made a life together so meaningful.

Senior pets deserve to be celebrated, too. 🤍🐾

Amber and Mister’s session was created to celebrate a bond that has been there through countless walks, lazy mornings, adventures, and years of unconditional companionship. We built a cozy little scene on the beach to symbolize their love of adventures and camping trips they’ve shared. Wrapped in soft tones and salty air, the story unfolded naturally.

I always believe the most meaningful photos come from capturing what matters most to you—not what anyone else says should be in the frame. Sometimes that’s a wedding dress. Sometimes it’s a growing family. And sometimes it’s the best friend who has been by your side through it all.

The little details, the sandy paws, the gentle glances, the moments in between—these are the memories that deserve to be preserved too.

Because love stories come in all forms, and every one of them is worth remembering. 🤍🐾

Your wedding day should feel like you.

Not a trend. Not a checklist. Not a collection of traditions you felt obligated to follow.

Emily and Kelly created a celebration that reflected who they are and what mattered most to them. They began their day with a morning ceremony at their church, surrounded by the people they love most. Instead of a formal evening reception, they gathered everyone for a brunch celebration complete with chicken and waffles (which, honestly, should happen more often). There were yard games in the sunshine, meaningful conversations, and they cut their cake with a family heirloom that carried generations of memories into the start of their marriage.

Every part of their wedding day felt intentional because every part of it was true to them.

That’s the beauty of weddings. There are no rules that matter more than creating a day that reflects your love story. Whether that means brunch instead of dinner, sneakers instead of heels, or rewriting traditions altogether, your wedding should be a celebration of who you are—not who anyone else expects you to be.

And if you ask me, that’s exactly what made this day so beautiful. 🤍

As the sun filtered through the trees and stretched long shadows across the ground, they stole a moment away from the celebration. Just the two of them, wrapped up in the beginning of forever.

Pride Month is a celebration of love in all its beautiful forms, and it’s one of the greatest honors of my work to document the stories of couples who choose to trust me with theirs.

Photography is about so much more than creating beautiful images. It’s about creating a space where people feel comfortable being fully themselves. A space where love is celebrated without hesitation, where laughter is welcomed, where emotions can be felt freely, and where every couple feels seen, valued, and safe.
