I got into photography in 2010 when my husband (then boyfriend) bought me a DSLR camera for my birthday. When I bought my first lens, I asked one of my best friends, Damara, to let me come over and practice on her newborn. Looking back, the pictures were far from perfect, but they were of a family that is very near and dear to my heart and really showed the love that Damara had for her newborn bab
y. The pictures meant a lot to Damara and her husband and the reaction that I got when I showed them the photos made my heart melt. Those same photos are hanging in their house among the countless others I've taken over the seven years I've been documenting their family's growth. I've surprised myself by how passionate I've become about photography and how it's driven me to constantly grow as I move forward. I often though that having a baby myself would cause this hobby to fall by the wayside but instead it's made me even more excited about capturing my own family's moment but other families', too. I offer various packages for portrait sessions; pricing starts at $200 for 2017. I also take on a limited number of weddings a year. Wedding packages start at $2,500.
