Off to photograph Allison and Connor’s wedding today, and I could not be more excited!

These two are truly wonderful people, and I am so happy for them as they begin this next chapter together.

And the details of this day? Absolutely incredible. They have an amazing vendor team, a stunning church, a gorgeous venue, and a live band for the reception. It is going to be such a fun celebration from start to finish.

I love making the drive out to Rochester to do sessions at the George Eastman Museum. I want to make sure my clients know about the recent changes to their photography policy. If you want your engagement photos or family photos taken here you need to pay a $400 fee for the outside or a $600 fee for the inside. It is sad that certain events have caused this to happen, but they need to do what is best to maintain their property. While I feel that the charge for an hour time slot is a lot, it is what it is.

The George Eastman Museum is implementing new policies on taking photographs on museum property.

Hi, I’m Alicia!

If you’re new here and wondering what makes me different from every other wedding photographer on your feed, here’s the short version.

I don’t just show up with a camera.

I’m the person helping you build a timeline that actually makes sense. I’m the one sending vendor recommendations when you’re overwhelmed by choices. I’m the one making sure family photos are organized, efficient, and as painless as possible. I’m the one fixing veils, fluffing dresses, finding the best light, and making sure you actually enjoy your wedding day.

I believe your wedding photos deserve to live somewhere other than your phone, which is why I've started including an album with every wedding package. Your wedding story should be printed, held, and passed down for generations.

I also shoot film because there is just something special about it. The nostalgia. The imperfections. The feeling. It brings a layer of artistry and emotion that I absolutely love.

Most importantly, I want this to be an experience, not just a transaction. You aren't just a day on my calendar. My couples matter to me. I want my couples to feel taken care of from the first conversation to the day their album arrives.

The photos matter. Of course they do. But how you feel throughout the process matters more to me.
