Great news!! 🩶🩵 Some of you already know that Tai Lung is back HOME with us, but I wanted to share it with everyone and give an update on how he’s doing.
It’s been two and a half weeks now, and after everything this guy has been through, his spirit says, not only am I a survivor, but I’m a warrior. 🐆
And somehow, after everything, he’s come back even more confident in himself than he was before. Situations that would have spooked him in the past just don’t seem to bother him anymore.
He has no problem with our dog—and you know she’s BIG 😂 but good with the cats. We have A LOT of wildlife to contend with out here, so raccoons, skunks and opossums are just part of his daily routine. He ultimately tries to avoid them, but he isn’t scared of them.
He even comes out to feed the horses with us now, which is absolutely beautiful and something I never would have imagined before. 🥹
It has been amazing to watch his transformation. 🤩 He is SO happy to have the freedom to be inside or outside as he pleases and, most of all, to know that he is home.
I was really worried about him and Phenomenon fighting when he came back because mannnn, those two could GO AT IT before he left here. 🙂↕️ When Tai first came home there was some growling and avoiding—mainly by Phenom 😂—but here we are now with all of them hanging out together, napping together, and Tai LOVES rubbing up against Nommy. That would NOT have happened before.
And none of this would have happened without the people who stepped up for him along the way. ❤️
Sharon at Bengal Rescue, the Porterville SPCA, Oakland SPCA, and our absolute angel 👼 of a foster, Fiona, who loved and cared for him for months before bringing him all the way back home to me. She still keeps in touch asking for updates, and that alone tells you what kind of heart she has.
I will forever be grateful to every person who recognized Tai, shared his story, helped connect the dots, protected him, cared for him and ultimately helped get him back where he belongs.
Tai Lung will never be leaving here again.
