As a photographer, I’ve spent years capturing milestones, celebrating achievements, and freezing moments that families will treasure forever. But no image I’ve ever taken could truly capture what it feels like to watch my own son accomplish one of the greatest milestones of his life.

Congratulations on graduating from college, son.

Watching you grow into the man you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I couldn’t be more proud of you. Your hard work, determination, and perseverance have brought you to this moment, and you’ve earned every bit of it.

People say the sky is the limit—but I don’t believe that. If you set your heart on it you can reach the stars, and every dream in between. There is absolutely nothing you can’t accomplish when you continue to believe in yourself and keep pushing forward.

As your mom, I’ll always be your biggest supporter. As a photographer, I know this is one of those moments that deserves to be remembered forever. But the truth is, this isn’t the final picture—it’s only the beginning of an incredible story that is still being written.
