Jonah and I played soccer from the time we could walk - all the way through college and post-college! In our twenties, we both traveled the country and all over the world playing soccer, and the opportunities we had were incredible. The teams, the people, the places, the friendships… and after we were done playing, we coached high schoolers for another seven years! Man, it feels like a different life ❤️🔥⚽️
This photo may look like a good ol’ throwback…but, it’s from a few days ago at the Martone’s wedding. This photo threw me back in time when I was looking at it, and all I could think about is how much I love working in “team.”
When all the teammates come prepared, and give their best, something beautiful happens. We know everyone has our back and as we lead, we yield…we follow, we help, we serve, we pick up the pieces…and watch as the beauty unfolds before our eyes.
It’s emotional, and we give our hearts away every time. It feels weird to say we genuinely love everyone we capture, but, we truly do. The love just keeps growing and our hearts expand! We see our clients, the people that love them, and get a front row seat into their world for a short time. 🥹❤️🔥
Weddings and events are a team sport and our role is one of many. It may seem a bit more glamorous than others, but it’s not…we have a role in a big team!
We don’t curate the grounds, do the landscaping, press the linens, or do the florals…we don’t do the hair and makeup, or cook amazing food, bake the yummy things, clean up the broken glass, clear the tables or create insanely fun environments for a two-hour dance party. The team does. We see you, and we are SO thankful!!
Feeling extra thankful for our couple and their families and “the team” this past weekend. Everyone was was solid, and it reminds me that’s how it should always be. Serving together in our own roles, to make magic happen for others. There’s a message here.
What if everyone always brought their best? To everything? You were born to bring your best, to be authentically you, and the goodness… the goodness is revealed when we come together in team, in family, in work, in life. ✨
