Hello out there in Facebook land!

It's been awfully quiet, as you may have noticed. For the last 14 months, I have been in nursing school but I am graduating at the end of April! I plan to take the summer "off" to spend with my family, so I will be opening my schedule for shoots from late April-August.

That said, after many years sitting at the same prices, my rates will be going up effective immediately. Currently, a half session is $200 and a full session is $300, but they will be going up to $275 and $400, respectively. However, I HATE raising prices on those of you who have been with me for yeeeeeears. So, for the next week (until 3/9/22), the old rates will be in effect for new bookings for shoots from end of April through the end of the year. You will have to choose your session date now and pay a $100 deposit to hold your date. If you are booking for fall, and your plans change, the sessions can be rescheduled, but the deposit will be non-refundable. If you don't use your session by 12/31/2022, your deposit will be applied to the new rates, not the old ones!

If you'd like to book at the old prices, please comment here with your date and email address for your contract. If the date you choose isn't available, I will reply with alternate options around that time. One last thing, because we are still booking fall weddings, we are HIGHLY suggesting Sunday-Friday dates as weddings get first priority, and if we book a wedding for a Saturday, we may have to reschedule you.

I so appreciate you all being patient with my being MIA the last year. I can't wait to get back to shooting because I miss all your smiling faces!

I have literally shared NOTHING from sessions this fall. Fail.

This is what I've been up to! I have two shoots left then we are home free!

I loved getting to see all of these families this year. I cut my sessions by about half, which was really a good thing! It's easy to get burned out doing 75 sessions over two months, but I feel good about this year.

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and let's allllllll hold hands and pray that 2021 brings us joy, health, togetherness, and healing.

Happy fall!

We have had many questions about fall family bookings. We wanted to wait a bit to see how things have been going, and have now decided to open a limited number of sessions for fall.

At the time, we will only be offering half sessions in order to accommodate as many people as possible. We will have two afternoon sessions on select days, and the family who books first will have the location choice. The second opening will be a piggy-back and you will have the exact location a week before your session.

To claim your session, leave the date and time you prefer along with your email address so we can send a contract. The deposit amount is $75 with a total cost of $200 ($125 balance is due the day of your session). Contracts not signed within 72 hours will be released because our dates are very limited this year.

In addition, we unfortunately won't be able to offer family video cards with half sessions this year. If you'd like video as well, you will have to book a full session outside of these dates.
After a wild and crazy year, we are excited to see your families again! ❤

First and foremost, I greatly appreciate all of you who have reached out to purchase sessions from us during this time. I am so glad that people who are able are coming together to keep small businesses going during this difficult time.

As of right now, all of our sessions and weddings have been postponed for a later date. I know several of you have asked to book sessions for the late spring and summer, but unfortunately since we don't know how long this will last or what the world will be like when it's like "normalish" again, I don't feel comfortable scheduling shoots right now. As soon as it is safe to do so, we will be back up and running and trying to make up for lost time.

Probably won't be shooting for a while, so cheer me up! I want to see your favorite photo I've taken of your family :) I saw another photographer doing this and loved the idea!
