I am deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend Rev Haywood. This was the only wedding I shot that he officiated. But we met many times. He always had a way of bringing a smile to your face with his great sense of humor. You will be missed Rev! Mendoza Family Update!

Rachel and Robert were our foundations' second couple. Thier son Issac has had a tough journey dealing with his brain tumor over the past few years. Issac is one brave little guy who does not let his situation keep him down. Here is what the Mendoza family has been up to.

1. Issac recently had an MRI for a follow up on his surgery last year. His tumor has not grown, is stable and low grade. He will not have to return for another year.
2. The family recently purchased their first home!
3. Robert, (Issac’s stepdad) became a class A truck driver.
4. Issac is excelling at school, beginning the process of transitioning into a Boy Scout and is playing baseball in the South West League.

Life is good!

Happy New Year! Bella Allure studio will be moving from my small space on 23rd street to Iron Lily Studios! Our new address will be 424 24th Street starting Feb 1st! Here are some before photos of the new studio spaces! We will have access to 3 studios with different looks and options to better serve you!

Makeup questions anyone?

I get asked fairly often if I touch up my makeup throughout the day, and I can truly say, I do not! I have oily skin, unruly pores, and the occasional fine line that can make it difficult some days, but most of the time, my tried and true routine does the trick. I snapped these pictures nearly 14 hours apart after a normal workday and prep for the holidays this time of year, and I’m pretty happy with my outcome! Sometimes when you photograph you have to get out of your comfort zone a little and shoot things you're not used to. A big thank you to Curtis Noble of Curtis Noble Photography for taking me out to Naval Air Facility El Centro to have a play date with these beautiful machines. It was a lot of fun, and something aviation photographer dream of :-)
