Hello Friends & Family!
Madison made the Varsity Team for the Northern Rockets Football & Cheer and she is fundraising to help pay for her Uniform. She is currently selling Chocolate Bars for a $1 or $60 for a box. Or if anyone is interested in Sponsoring her or helping by donating we will gladly accept all the help we can get :) Between her uniform and registration our goal is $800.

Tomorrow Morning (Friday) 5a-9a Claudette with KBAK/KBFX and the Salvation Army will be at Kern Schools Federal Credit Union, in the Town & Country Shopping Center on Coffee and Stockdale.
Please stop by and drop off your CHECK DONATIONS. Sinclair Broadcast Group will be matching $1 for every $1 donated up to $100,000.
If you wish to donate cash then that is fine too, the Salvation Army will be there collecting cash donations.
When writing out your check it is important that it has the two following things written on it:
TO: Salvation Army Hurricane Harvey
Memo: Sinclair Cares
The Salvation Army will be bringing out their mobile kitchen and providing coffee all morning long.
After 9am there are other ways yo can still donate...
Friday, ALL DAY – Viewers can go to our website BakersfieldNow.com and donate, again funds donated through our website are eligible for the match.
Friday, 9am-4pm – The Salvation Army, 4417 Wilson Road will be accepting checks. Again be sure to emphasize how the checks are written.
