This picture was made using a rangefinder built in the 30s. I found it in a thrift store. It died about halfway through the roll. I ended up giving the camera away to a collector who stopped at my yard sale before I moved. Though I only had the camera for a very short time, this is one of my favorite pictures I’ve ever made, dust and all.

I regret giving away the piano too, but it went to a good home.
It was a Lester Betsy Ross Spinet built in 1938.

For any film nerds, it’s HP5 with Rodinal. Developed and scanned by me.
