AprilDawnPhotography and I had a blast practicing our portrait skills in the quick minute we both had between trips before school starts. It's so nice to have someone to work towards being better at our passions with. I have so many favorites from the day, it was difficult to pick just a few.

Last night I was able to take pictures of the Hansen Family. I have known Chris and Brandy and their children for over a decade, and it was so wonderful to capture their extended family on such a lovely evening. Dick and Diane have certainly grown a legacy in their children and grandchildren. As Diane told Dick, "Honey, all these people are here because of us!"

I enjoyed capturing some special pictures for these two. It was cloudier than we hoped, but they didn't let that dim their smiles.

The weekend before last I got to take pictures of a beautiful bride and her groom. I have known Liz and her family for almost a decade. It was wonderful to take so many photos of people so in love, as well as their families. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lynch! May you have a long and happy marriage!

Sneak Peek! Tristen and Ashley are patiently awaiting the arrival of their baby boy! I've known Tristen for years, and was excited when his sister contacted me about doing their maternity shoot. Ashley is quick to smile, and I can tell she already loves her little boy so much!
