Branding photography is so much more than headshots.

Before I ever picked up my camera, Angela and I talked about Boards & Bites by Angela — what she creates, how she works, what makes her business special, and what she needs her images to do.

Then we built the session around her story.

The garden. The planning. The ingredients. The cooking. The tiny details. The finished food. The experience. And, most importantly, Angela herself.

I’ve photographed this family for at least thirteen years.

Long enough that I can look back through their galleries and watch childhood disappear by inches. Faces change. Kids grow. Relationships shift. And somehow, every time we meet again, they’re completely themselves, just a newer version.

This is the part of family photography I love most. It’s getting to know people well enough that eventually the camera becomes the least interesting thing happening.

Thirteen years of this family.

What an absolute privilege.

Class of 2027 - Fall is hands-down one of my favorite times for senior photos in Colorado. The weather is cooler, the mountains are showing off, and everything just looks amazing!

They grow so fast. Somehow the little faces change, the clothes get too small, and another year slips by before you know it.

Family photos are a way to hold onto a little piece of who they are right now. The smiles, the silliness, the snuggles, and all the little things you don’t realize you’ll miss someday.

It's hard to believe we're already talking about fall, but my calendar is officially open for high school senior and family sessions!

Some wedding days just feel special from the very beginning, and Angela & Andrew’s day was absolutely one of them.

I had so much fun capturing every part of this celebration, from the beautiful group photos to the candid laughs, quiet moments, dance floor fun, and everything in between.
