A little personal update... 🤍

I'm so excited to share that my family is growing! My husband and I are expecting our third sweet baby this fall, and we couldn't be more thankful for this new chapter.

Because of this, I'll be taking a short maternity leave. I will be closing my books after September 20th so I can prepare for baby's arrival and enjoy those first precious weeks with our newest little one. I'll be sure to announce when my schedule is open again!

If you've been thinking about booking a family, maternity, couples, or any portrait sessions this summer or early fall, I'd love to see you before my leave begins. Thank you all so much for your continued support, encouragement, and for allowing me to capture so many special moments over the years. It truly means the world to me!

Hello!

My name is Noah Reddington and I am the hands behind Wild North Rodsmith Co.

I have lived in Ely for 6 years, now raising two boys with my wife. The Northwoods has provided us with endless fishing opportunities.

I built my first rod at 14 years old, and I’ve been hooked ever since — crafting rods for family, friends, and anyone who shares the same love for time on the water.

What started as a hobby has grown into a full rod‑building and repair shop.

I build custom fly, open water, and ice fishing rods, along with hands‑on classes. Both for individual or group settings, providing the supplies to build your own rod to take home.

Broke your favorite rod? I am happy to repair rod guides and tips that still have lots of life in them.

Up here, fishing isn’t just a pastime — it’s a way of life — and I’m proud to help others enjoy it with gear built by hand and built to last.
