So went on a tundra adventure this morning. Sandy Hook Bay, Navesink and Shrewberry Rivers are complete ice! This ice is thick and I saw no movement while there. Bitter cold. The deer and red fox were out in full force feeding and soaking up the sun. Wonder if they are stocking up before the next storm? I’ve never seen this much ice in the bay. Amazing.

Froze my ass off shooting but didn’t want to miss out. Boardwalk and beach were treacherous to walk on. Temps in the low 20s with 37 water temps. Probably on of the coldest days I’ve ever shot.

Found a video I took on Monstrous Monday. Rarely shoot video but I was so in awe with the wave heights. My commentary at the end “WOW! Holy crap it’s going to be crazy later!” …. and it sure was !!!
