As much as pregnancy is about the relationship with your child, it’s also about a new relationship with your body. It’s about succumbing to the changes, watching every curve evolve, sometimes with love, sometimes with fear, sometimes with pure amazement. It’s as if you’re introducing yourself again to your own home, which is now the home to another being.

It’s the most freeing, the most terrifying, the most unknown. It’s every feeling of gratitude, and yet also of wonder, because our body is no longer just for us. It’s a love and sacrifice that is worth everything.

If we’ve never met before, here’s what you should know about me...

I’m Taylor, a wife, mama, and someone who has always believed there is extraordinary beauty tucked inside the ordinary. I photograph families, motherhood moments and everything in between.

I believe photographs should feel like making memories, not poses. I’ll probably notice your toddler’s tiny hand wrapped around yours before I notice whether everyone’s looking at the camera. I’ll ask you to slow down, snuggle a little closer, and forget I’m even there.

Photography has become so much more than creating beautiful images for me. Walking through both incredible joy and unimaginable grief in my own life has reminded me that time is never something we’re promised. The moments that feel ordinary today often become the ones we ache to remember tomorrow.

This little space has grown because of people who value connection over perfection, and memories over picture-perfect moments. If that’s you, I think you’ll feel right at home here.

Whether you’ve been following along for years, or today is the very first time we’ve crossed paths, I’m so grateful you found your way here.

As photographers, we often talk about how we hope our photographs will make you feel when you look back on them.
�But the true beauty, for me, is how it feels to be welcomed into your life and trusted to witness some of your most precious and tender memories.

I hold deep honor in the art of noticing.

Seeing the tiniest hands with the biggest hearts reaching out for their mama and how she snuggles into them so effortlessly, catching a knowing glance between a husband and wife, the wonder on a child’s face as they discover something in nature. The way a baby scrunches their little nose to smell the sweetness of a blooming flower. I notice the countless emotions that wash over a mother’s face as she meets her baby for the very first time, settling into a softness full of the purest love.

Being invited into these deeply human, often life changing moments, to quietly observe them, preserve them and hand them back to you, is a gift I will always cherish.

I’ve been looking back through photos from the last year-ish and realizing just how many beautiful sessions I never shared.

After losing Shea, I was in such a grief fog for so long that keeping up with social media wasn’t something I had much capacity for.

These photos have been patiently waiting, and they deserve to be seen.

This session was one I’ll never forget. They were celebrating 10 years of marriage, and she even brought her wedding bouquet with her to the beach. It was such a simple yet incredibly meaningful keepsake to bring along. 🥲

I’ll end with this…the most beautiful love is the kind that chooses each other, again and again, through every season 🤎

I’m so thankful I’m finally getting around to sharing this session.
