The Vollstaedt family is glowing and growing! 🍁✨
Lacey's maternity collections always turn out absolutely stunning. So I knew well ahead of time that I'd have a hard time choosing favorites to share for sneaks.
When we found out she was expecting again, we immediately starting drawing up a vision for her portraits. Last time we were faced with snowy and blowy weather, so we got creative- making magic in the studio.
But this time around we were both SO excited to do something whimsy and glowy with have access to lovely weather and scenery outdoors!
I couldn't be happier with the way things turned out, even after a last minute reschedule due to an unexpected rain shower.
The sun was perfect, peeping just enough through the scattered clouds & surrounding trees. The water level in the creek was low enough to allow no scares for Joe & even little miss Brooklyn to wade through with fearless momma. It was pure bliss.
All in all- I think I'll need to update my advertising products, because these maternity collections are really taking the cake this past season. 😍🥹

It’s finally fall mini day! 🍁✨🤍
If you’re heading out to come and play, please be sure to check your messages! The farm may be a bit busier today, so if you see me before I see you- feel free to call out my name and wave!
A fun reminder- they have the absolute best variety of pumpkins and even offer an all you can carry deal for $20! Pack your muscles, then pack your trunk full of gorgeous stackers, pumpkins or cornstalks before heading home!

🍂🎃OFFICIAL FALL MINI DATE 🎃🍂
Due to being booked out completely for weekends for the remainder of the year. As well as being nice and fluffy & pregnant.🥰 I will only be offering one set of fall minis this year.
All other fall bookings will be booked as petite or full collections.

So with ONE mini date ahead of us- you know we absolutely HAD to pick a stunning location with multiple photo op areas!
The Ankley Family Farm offers gorgeous scenic tree lines, vintage trucks and tractors and unique set ups sprinkled throughout the property.
As well as multiple sunflower fields that rotate for blooms through to the end of season.
And of course we can't forget their amazing pumpkin displays! They spruce up each area around the farm for the season with pumpkins, gourds and mums galore.
(And you're even welcome to purchase them & take them home if you'd like! They offer the biggest variety of pumpkins I've ever seen. You seriously can not beat their prices! )

Introducing The Sexton's | Odins Owl
A quick peek at Karleigh & Corbin's formal portraits from their absolutely breathtaking autumn wedding.
For a free flowing feel kind of day, I'd have to say everything was planned to perfection. And they couldn't have picked a better date for fall color and beautiful weather!
And the portraits?! S T U N N I N G. ✨
A new set of blueprints for future brides & grooms, as Karleigh called them! What an amazing compliment. 🤍🥹

More of my couples are opting in for publishing their engagement & wedding collections into gorgeous keepsake books. And my shutterbug heart couldn’t be more full.
There is nothing like being able to hold physical copies of the art that we’ve created, and the memories that we’ve captured together. To open up for decades to come and look back on. And maybe even sharing with their children someday.
Ugh. The BEST feeling ever! 🤍

I knew as soon as I hit the shutter button, that this would be one of my favorite shots from our morning together.
Sometimes you can glance through all of the inspirational shots, and we can capture them all. But the ones we create on our own are always going to be my favorite!

First comes love. Next comes marriage. Then comes baby!
Cara & Austin are expecting and I couldn't be more excited for them to become parents!
Our journey together started at the very beginning of their love story, capturing- not even their engagement collection- but a couples session quite a few years back (5 to be exact)! Of course followed up by their engagements and beautiful 'Happily Ever After' wedding back in 2024.
And now we're on to my favorite chapter! Parenthood!
I just love watching my couples grow together, and becoming parents is one of the biggest growth spurts a relationship can withhold. I've been dreaming of this announcement for half of a decade. And I can't believe it's finally here!
Now to patiently wait for baby Declan's arrival. 🤍
