IG: We started Nappy Time Portraits in the Austin area of Texas, in September 2018. Since then, we have created many seasonal and special photography scenes, as well as matched outfits, to capture special moments in a child’s growth. During a baby's first year, there's only so much you can do with professional photographers

and posing in studios. So Nappy Time Portraits let your sleeping child be the star of his or her own fantasy world, making your baby pictures look like they came from a story book! We also have standing photography sets for toddlers and young children. You can choose the photo backdrop that suits you and we can come to your home. In the comfort of a familiar place and surrounded by familiar friends and toys, your children will naturally smile in the picture. In October of 2020, when COVID-19 hit us miserably, we offered a 753 photography session (753 is a traditional rite of passage and festival day in Japan for three- and seven-year-old girls and five-year-old boys celebrating the growth and well-being of young children) to those who could not or decided not to go back to Japan to celebrate with their children. Our reputation spread and we now do various types of photography sessions, including family, senior, graduation, holiday, maternity photos, etc. We offer a unique, tailored, and flexible photography opportunity. Bluebonnet Session🌿
This was a joint session with a family I’ve had the pleasure of working with before, and another lovely family they met here in Austin.

Since it was an outdoor session, their sweet dog Toast joined us too 🐾
Blowing bubbles, holding hands and spinning around with her friend, then running off together to the playground again and again from the bluebonnet field… the whole time was filled with pure joy and playfulness.
I was able to capture so many natural, carefree moments ♫

As the soft golden light slowly faded during golden hour, the children kept playing together, holding hands and spinning around without a care.
It made me feel that this day will stay in their hearts as a beautiful and happy memory for years to come.

I feel truly grateful to have been a small part of such a precious🌟memory

いつもお世話になっているご家族と、オースティンで出会った仲良しご家族との合同撮影でした。
この日はお外での撮影だったので、愛犬トーストも一緒にパシャリ🐾

シャボン玉を飛ばしたり、お友達と手をつないでぐるぐる回ったり、何度もブルーボネットの広場を抜け出してプレイグラウンドへ遊びに行ったり。
思いっきりのびのびとした、自然な姿をたくさん残すことができました♫

ゴールデンアワーのやわらかな光がゆっくりと落ちていく中で、いつまでも手をつないでぐるぐる回りながら遊んでいられるお友達と一緒の時間。
この日の記憶が、これからもずっと楽しい思い出として心に残っていくんだろうな、と感じました。

その大切な記憶の片隅に、そっと関われたことがとても幸せです💕いつもありがとうございます💖

Bluebonnet Session🌿
During the Hinamatsuri session, she was just learning to stand.
This time, she showed us how she could walk hand in hand with Mom and Dad.

By the next time we meet, she might already be walking on her own…
and that makes each little step feel even more precious.

Babies grow so quickly,
and these moments pass by before we even realize it.

That’s why
each moment becomes a treasure for the future.

The first time standing,
the first steps,
and the warmth of holding hands with family.

ひな祭りの撮影のときには、つかまり立ちだった娘さんが、
この日はパパとママと手をつないで、しっかりと歩く姿を見せてくれました。

次に会うときには、きっと一人で歩いているんだろうな、と思うと
その一歩一歩が愛おしく感じられます。
赤ちゃんの成長は、本当にあっという間で、
気がつけば通り過ぎてしまうような瞬間ばかり。
だからこそその一瞬一瞬が、未来へと続く大切な宝物になります。

はじめて立った日。

Bluebonnet Session
It was such a chilly spring day, almost enough to bring tears to your eyes, but your family’s warmth made the session so full of love.

We were able to capture these moments at one of the later-blooming bluebonnet locations in Austin, right as the flowers were beginning to bloom beautifully 🌿
Their son was full of energy, running around and holding hands with both Mom and Dad, as if he didn’t feel the cold at all ✨

The way your family of three stayed close together felt so warm and comforting, it was such a joy to witness.

この日は思わず涙が出そうなくらい寒い春の日でしたが、ご家族のあたたかさに包まれて、愛情たっぷりの撮影となりました。

オースティン市内では遅咲きのブルーボネットロケーションで、ちょうどいいタイミングで咲き始めたお花と一緒に撮影することができました🌿
息子さんは、元気いっぱいに走ったり、パパとママと手をつないだりしながら、寒さなんてどこへやら、ってくらい元気でしたね✨

ご家族3人で寄り添う姿もとてもあたたかく、見ているこちらまでほっとするような時間でした。
最後はお友達家族と一緒に📷

少し寒さのある中でも、笑顔いっぱいで頑張ってくれて本当にありがとうございました😊
この春の大切な思い出として、長く残していただけたら嬉しいです🌸

Bluebonnets Photography Session
During such a challenging time for them, they made time in their busy lives to create special memories for their son. Thank you so much for coming.
This session was also to celebrate his school enrollment🌸

Of course, they had hoped to have a full family portrait together. However, with everything going on, Mom felt it was best not to be in the photos.
Even so, I was able to capture one photo together at the end, and his smile truly shines the brightest when he’s with his mom.

Earlier this year, while reading a bedtime story to their son, Dad suddenly suffered a stroke. He is currently continuing his rehabilitation.
I can only imagine how difficult each day must be, but I truly hope these photos can bring even a small sense of comfort and strength to their family, and reach him as a source of encouragement.

There will also be a fundraising event for the family at the AJC Children’s Day Festival happening tomorrow.

ご家族にとって大変な時期の中、息子さんのために思い出を残したいと、忙しい中時間を作ってお越しいただき、本当にありがとうございました。
今回は息子さんの入学のお祝いも兼ねての撮影でした🌸

本当はご家族そろってのお写真を残したかったと思いますが、ママもいろんな思いの中で、一緒に写ることは控えたいとのことでした。
それでも最後に1枚だけご一緒に撮らせていただいたお写真、息子さんはやっぱりママと一緒のときが一番いい笑顔ですね。

旦那様は今年息子さんの寝かしつけの絵本を読んでる最中に脳梗塞で倒れられ、現在もリハビリ生活を続けていらっしゃいます。
大変な状況の中での日々だと思いますが、このお写真が少しでもご家族の力になり、旦那様にも届いて元気のひとつになればと願っています。

Bluebonnet Family Session🩵
This year in Austin, there were fewer spots with full blooms than usual, and the blooming period felt shorter as well.

Even so, many families had booked ahead of time, looking forward to capturing memories with the Texas state flower.

Thank you so much for your flexibility with last-minute schedule and location changes.
Because of you, I was able to capture beautiful, natural moments that truly reflect each family🌟

One of the families will be returning to their home country this summer, and they made time in their busy schedule to come for a bluebonnet session.

今年のオースティン市内は、例年よりもたくさん咲いているスポットが少なく、咲いている期間も短めでしたが、ブルーボネットの季節の前からご予約いただき、州花との撮影を楽しみにしてくださっていたご家族の皆さま。

直前のスケジュールやロケーション変更にも柔軟にご協力いただき、本当にありがとうございました。
おかげさまで、今年も愛らしくて、そのご家族らしい自然な瞬間をお届けすることができました✨

この夏にご帰国されるご家族も、「ブルーボネットで撮影したい」という想いで、娘ちゃんたちの忙しいスケジュールを調整してお越しくださいました。
愛情たっぷりに育った可愛い娘さんたちと、優しいご両親。

ゴールデンアワーの夕日が沈むブルーボネットの中で、ご家族の笑顔がキラキラと輝いていました✨
「ものすごく楽しく撮っていただき、とぉーーーーっても楽しかったです😆」
その“とぉーーー”の伸びに、私もたくさんの嬉しさをいただきました💖

Nappy Time Portraits joined Austin Japan Community-AJC Ohanami Potluck last weekend 🪻
Maybe because we haven’t had much rain this year, there haven’t been many bluebonnets blooming around the city, but Champion Park suddenly came alive about a week before the event.
All the homemade dishes and foods everyone brought were so delicious! I truly admire everyone’s cooking skills 🌟
Thank you to the newly appointed AJC members for organizing, and for this wonderful annual event as always 💕

先週末にAJCお花見ポットラックに行ってきたよ🪻
今年は雨量が少ないせいか、市内はブルーボネットがたくさん咲いてるところがあまりない中、イベント１週間くらい前からどどっと咲いたChampion Park。
みんなの持ってきた手作りの食べ物やお惣菜がほんと美味しくて、女子力＆男子力に尊敬です🌟
新しく就任したAJCメンバーと、毎年恒例の美味しい企画ありがとう💕

Hi there! 💙
I have just a couple of early morning spots open at Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area on April 3rd.

This is one of the best bluebonnet fields in Texas, and it’s looking very promising this year! I checked it recently and it’s already so beautiful ✨
It’s about an hour from Austin, but it’s absolutely worth the early wake-up to catch that dreamy morning light in the field 🌅

Anniversary session at the farm 🐐🌿
We had a beautiful session at Austin Sanctuary Farm, about an hour east of Austin, where we could interact with so many lovely animals✨

Goats, chickens, cows, pigs, and even a free-roaming peacock 🦚
All the animals were happily wandering around the spacious farm.

We brought lots of veggies and fruits to share with them 🥕🍅
It was such a peaceful and joyful time under the soft spring sky ☀️

Their little girl was a bit shy at first, but she got so excited when the animals started eating from her hands 🥰
This sweet family is celebrating their 9th anniversary.
