What a month! I started the Artist Way with friends, ate a lot of hot dogs, spent hours at the pool, watched Ne’er-do-well shred, played a lottttt of Stardew Valley, and - of course! - took pictures of people in love ❤️‍🔥

Reading | I promise I actually read quite a bit but I’ve been reading like 4 books at the same time 😆 I’ve really been enjoying Daily Rituals: How Artists Work

Eating | Zucchini everything!!! This month I baked Zucchini chocolate chip cookies, zucchini bread, and zucchini crumb cake

Photographing | A little bit of everything - family/senior photos, a proposal, engagement sessions, and an intimate wedding

Obsessing | I fear I have fallen into yet another Stardew Valley obsession lol

Recommending | Re-visiting the crafts you loved to make as a kid!

Treating | I bought my first medium format camera this month 📸

Hoping to soak up as much summer-y stuff as possible in August ☀️ (and maybe get a single photo of myself to share & prove I exist!)

Better late than never! June was fun! It feels like a lifetime ago that we were in Philly - where we began the month. This month was filled fun projects at work, quality time with friends, and MANY early evenings at the pool (left the phone at home so there’s no proof of the last one.)

My June REPORT:

Reading | Lots of summer romance! I think my favorite was “Our Perfect Storm” by Carley Fortune - love a good best friends to lovers story… I wonder why? 🤭

Eating | Finding many ways to cook and bake with zucchini 👩🏼‍🌾

Photographing | An elopement, a post-wedding portrait sesh, and a wedding at Barr Mansion 💍 Thankfully mostly in the AC!

Obsessing | Let’s just say it was a good month to be a Swiftie haha

Recommending | I discovered clear protein powder this month and it’s been such a game changer because wdym I can sip on a strawberry flavored bev all afternoon and get 20g of protein??

Treating | I bought a lil tube floaty for the pool and now I fear I will live in the water for the rest of summer 💦

Summer is always a bit slower here in Texas which always leaves space for introspection and growth. I’m starting the Artist Way with photo friends and excited to dive deeper into what it means to live creatively!!

It’s been a little over a year since Vianei and Dylan got married on the longest day of 2025 - and my first ever night flame wedding at Chapel Dulcinea 🌚

Still very obsessed with this gallery - both the stunning golden hour portraits AND the creative portraits we took with the limited light available after the ceremony ✨

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads I get to meet at the weddings I photograph. 🫶

You guys are often my favorite people to observe throughout the day.

I watch you take your pictures through the day, just as you have for every major milestone in your kids’ lives.

Write your toasts.

Help your son put on a tie.

Cry during a first look with your daughter.

Walk your kid down the aisle.

Dance with them during the reception.

Wear their face on your socks!
