My work with Austin Art in Public Places Program is up! The installation is titled "Kindness Doesn't Cost Anything" and consists of 6 glass panels printed with images I shot during my Artist's Residency with Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.

This has been the longest (3+ years!) and the biggest (7ft tall!) project I've worked on yet. Big thanks to my Austin Art in Public Places Program project manager Marjorie Flanagan, to Nick Schnitzer for the installation work, Noah Wight for the lighting design, and all the medics with whom I rode out and peppered with a million questions.

Austin friends, you can see the work at EMS stations 2 (Menchaca Road), 8 (Balcones Drive), and 11 (McCarty Lane). Go after dark to see the the panels when they are backlit with LED lights.

And, next time you see a medic, thank them for taking care of our community. They truly are the seams that hold us together. Also, wash your hands.

Congrats to AIPP artist Laura Hajar! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

very happy to share my recent collaboration with Eye Like Design (a super rad graphic design firm in ATX) and American Gateways (an incredible non-profit that provides free & low-cost legal services to immigrants in Central Texas):

I'm excited to announce that, for the first time ever, I am making prints of my work available for purchase. First up is this image I shot on Boston Common in February 2015, during one of the countless blizzards that made it the snowiest winter on record. 11x14 print on canvas, signed & numbered.

Boston area friends: It feels like summer is hanging on but the holiday season is around the corner. Time to get cracking on those family photos! I'm booking mini portrait sessions for the next 2 Saturdays (9/26 and 10/3), location to be determined (within 20 miles of the city). Morning and late afternoon sessions available. What you get: 20 minutes in front of the camera and 8-10 hi-res digital images that you can use for prints, cards, etc. Message me for pricing and times! xoxo

In March, I traveled to Guatemala to capture stories of people like Claudia who, thanks to a successful partnership between Mercy Corps and Tazo Tea, are working to improve their lives and communities. Click the link for more photos.

Claudia is 20 years old. After participating in programs we made possible with Mercy Corps, she has started down her career path. But that’s just part of the story.

A great story on wbur.org today featuring photographs from a recent project I worked on with the Pine Street Inn.

With the opening of Saint Peter's apartments, Pine Street Inn, a roof of last resort for people in Boston for more than 40 years, now manages more permanent than temporary beds.

Had such a great time shooting the Sole Train 5K for Trinity Boston Foundation this morning at Jamaica Pond. Sole Train is a non-competitive, distance running program for kids in the Boston Public Schools. So much fun seeing so many come together to support this great organization!
