I haven't made many attempts at light painting but the ones I have, have been fun and I really enjoyed the results. This time I was able to go out with an LED hula hooper and my wife to get these fun shots. Light trails are not something hard to capture, set a long shutter speed, relatively low ISO to avoid noise and go. What I was wanting to focus on was capturing the person creating these trails and patterns but not losing the lights they were creating. We got some good images and plenty of them, I chopped them down and this is what's left, hope you enjoy them. Thanks to Abby again for coming out and as always thanks to my beautiful wife, photo assistant, idea hasher outter and all other good things Meagan. The first half of the album are the shots with the model/light in focus the rest are just fun light trails and pattern for eye candy.

Always looking for new experiences and to grow as a photographer I recently had the oppurtunity to join the ChamberShip family on a little outing for some fun. Family and child photography is not something I'm used too but we definitely captured some fun moments together. Thanks to Josh, Nikki, and Olive for letting me hang out.

First show I've shot in around 4-5 years, had to knock a little rust off but I had lots of fun and got plenty of pics. Took me a while to choose from my favorites, The Empire Control room has some cool lights that provided oppurtunity for some nice shots.

Better late then never, here are some shots I snapped during the first round of the TSS Finals in Austin on the 5th. Didn't have my full DSLR but still managed to get some cool shots of the day, maybe next time I'll get up in there for better angles but my goal for the day was more spectator based, anyways, enjoy. If I don't tag someone or got a trick wrong please feel free to let me know.

So beyond amped right now I have been accepted as a featured artist for my photography at an art event in October! I get my own wall and everything.

Been going out at night getting timelapses, always ready for a photo though. I really like how the light trails ended up hugging the sign but not touching it or crossing in front of it. Sometimes you get lucky.

Feeling accomplished today, skated a nice 19 mile skate, had a gnarly fall. Came home grabbed camera gear and met with my buddy Dench on the pursuit of skate spots. Managed to find one random rail then spent some time hanging out on a street corner where I snagged the last two shots.
