Just had to use the mini Bundt pan for something. Lemon baby bundts with lavender glaze. Still playing with summer recipes because it’s 95 degrees today and even my fall decorations are up, summer is on the mind ☀️

Inspired by Frida Kahlo and summer. When I think of summer I think of watermelon first 😍🍉

I wanted to see the entire composition but my blue backdrop wasn’t big enough so I swapped it for a blue savage roll but thought it was pretty flat compared to the bright textured dark blue. I shared it anyway so you can see what I mean!

Shot with three A2s all bare bulb, one behind lighting the backdrop which gave it a nice glow and highlighted more of the texture.

Fighting for the light ✨

Mainly showing off my latest additions to my vintage glassware collection and playing around with mirrors and splashes for fun nothing more!!!

Sad to say I lost an etched star glass when I drove my car into the garage later and knocked over my c stand into the glasses on the floor 🤦🏻‍♀️ uh. 😐

Woke up to a text from a friend congratulating me for winning Voice Competition for “on the table” category. What a great early birthday present! I feel so honored :,) There were 36,000 submissions from all around the world in 15 different categories! Three of my other food images won in the “color pop”, “in bloom”, and “on the table” categories.

Check the website for all the other winners! So much inspiration! Thank you to click magazine for so many incredible classes and mentors that I continue to learn from! And of course for her incredible prop styling❤️

Happy Valentine’s Day! See my set up for these “call me” shots.

I used three A2s (think it’s time for another light!) and spent three days styling and restyling and more time thinking about it and ordered a red telephone last minute because I didn’t love the way the pink one looked. 😜

Instead of editing in Lightroom, I only used capture one which I’m liking more and more for simple edits. Thanks to .hulswitdesigns for encouraging me there!

Beagles and food photography do not go hand in hand….

But they do a great job cleaning the crumbs off the floor.

Been baking many different chocolate chip cookie recipes this week! This was shot with my A2 with magnum and grid, angled down from the side. Just a single light for this one.

Can’t wait to show you what happened next…. Coming soon in a reel next week 🤪🐶🐶

One of my goals for 2026 is to have a creative playdate once a week, where I create for no one but myself. It’s a time to explore, experiment with light, and most importantly play!

I’ve been slowly switching over to lights, which I absolutely love so far. (I still haven’t let go of my beloved Godox!) I used two A2s one with a magnum grid and one with a barebulb bounced off the white ceiling for a bit of fill. To be honest, I spent most of Monday baking cookies and meal prepping so really only allotted an hour for this, but still was so satisfying.

Also, aren’t these Target glasses so pretty!? 5$ section for the win!🏆

I’ve been taking more self portraits lately, to break things up. Thought of this one after thrown spaghetti and a long bed time with kids, as I sat down to unwind with some w**e 🙃

I feel I exist between figuring out what healthy food to prep for kids and the creative hours in my studio. Striking the right balance has felt endlessly elusive. I think I could write more, but the photo tells the rest.
