My last wedding of 2025 earlier this month was a literal ‼️and ✨💕 to end the wedding season. Emily & Jacob are the Kings and had a beautifully elegant celebration with the most heartfelt words spoken at their ceremony.

This year the weddings I got to serve had a common thread— intentionality and soul-filled ceremonies where the words and sentiments spoken over the couples caused me to pause and feel inspired in my own marriage. I left so many weddings excited to come home to my own husband and family and see them through fresh eyes. Each year, weddings teach me something new about myself. Having shot weddings for 13 years now, I’m not interested in the trends or content or any type of fame or notoriety social media offers. I’m in this industry for the preservation of life and family memories that never, ever happen again. This year further solidified my “why.”

2026, I have no idea what you will look like. But I absolutely know WHY I will photograph weddings this year. I’m not done yet. You’ll see me around 🤍

I love getting to witness the veil so thin. A budding mom and dad giggling and whispering sweet-nothings while they relish in it being just the two of them for now. I know this baby will be so loved!

These are just a few images of the *thousands* I’ve taken this fall. As my heart and mind shift into reflection mode closing out 2025, I feel deeply, deeply grateful. Maybe I’ll publicly share some of these feelings, but holding them close to the heart feels sacred for now.
