It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. Not an intentional break — just a busy season between my photography business and the photo biz education side of my work. Social media ended up taking a bit of a backseat.
But I just finished editing a really FUN photshoot for YogaPod (which also happens to be where I spend some of my favorite hours of the week in their hot yoga classes). It felt worthy of a reel.

The vibe, the people, the instructors, the classes — truly next level. If you’re looking for a new yoga home in Austin, I can’t recommend this place enough.

It was such a fun project combining two things I love: photography and yoga. 🧘‍♀️ 📸

Dec finished his first season of tackle football last week, playing for his middle school (FPMS Falcons). This season was truly about the journey and personal growth. To truncate it, his low was a hard hit mid season that put him on concussion watch; his high was coming back from that with an interception the very next game.

But beyond the game of football, is the incredible program he was lucky enough to be part of this fall. Waking up early for practices before school, a school clean up day directed by his coaches, thank you cards written to school staff, again directed by his coaches. The football coaches demanded so much more of the boys beyond the actual game, expecting them to be the best version of themselves. What a great age to have this positive reinforcement in their lives.

A final highlight of Dec’s football season isn’t about four points middle school. But rather a bunch of 7 year olds playing on neighborhood sports. Dec helped Adam out coaching Nate’s team this season. He was the defensive coach, and he shined. He was so good with the boys. It was so cool watching him out there. See stories for a few highlights.

And to end this a huge shoutout to who inspired the football pics of Dec. I have never tried post double exposure like this…it was so fun!!! Thanks - you are so talented and creative!! 📷✨

Lexi’s first volleyball season was killer! These girls played their hearts out. They won every game during the season except their first and played a 12 game tournament on Saturday, coming in 3rd place. I’m not going to lie, I thought they’d walk out with the trophy. Regardless, it was a great day and fantastic season. Savages 👊🏻🏐

Living on 9600 acres, the land is so much a part of this family. So instead of an indoor house shoot, we did a sunrise outdoor shoot for this little guy's newborn photos. It was so much fun and a perfect reflection of this beautiful family's life!
