A few days ago, Rachel and I planned on checking out a park in Austin that we've never been to before. But by the time I was done with work for the day, neither of us were looking forward to a long drive. Instead, we froze ourselves in the apartment pool and took photos there instead.

Last Sunday I had the chance to catch up with Yelena, a friend of mine from high school. She was visiting Austin for the first time, so of course we had to get some photos of her in the bluebonnets. Here's a sampler of what we created! 🌿

This is such a great video on posing people who don't have modeling experience! Sometimes I feel like a need a refresher on posing, and this was a fun video to watch. (Especially her tip on "refreshing" a smile.)

Yesterday I decided to treat myself and get a handful of macarons from Bakery Lorraine. I of course also had a mini photo shoot with them on the patio area of the bakery since it was almost empty out there.

The strawberry one (dark red with white "seeds") was delicious and there's a spot of strawberry jam hidden inside the filling! Have you ever tried a macaron? What's your favourite flavour?
