In Monica and Kavan’s case… they had their family there to celebrate with them. ♥️

It was the sweetest showing of love and as I look through these photos I’m reminded of how special it is to choose to be surrounded by those who love you most.

This rehearsal dinner was a P A R T Y in every sense of the word and what an honor it was to celebrate the now newlyweds on a boat. And even during a storm!! 🤠

There’s just something so so special about every moment before a wedding. The excitement, the love, the joy. All of it encompasses the day so perfectly.

every part of the wedding day is so integral. You took the time to think about the colors, the design, the venue, the setup. So let’s make sure it gets the spotlight it deserves.

this set of photos evokes the same emotions. Let me set the scene for you.

I knew about the present Aaron was going to give to Kevin on his wedding day. For months. And being the wedding photographer, I was in charge of assisting with the plan for how not to give it away but make it a very special moment for their family.

Because the present, a tie clip with their brother’s signature (his actual signature), deserved a silent moment just for them.

The present to this day is one I think of fondly, not only because of what it was, but because of what Matt meant to my family.

If there’s one reason why I love photography… this set of photos is why. Because even looking at them is enough to bring tears to my eyes.

Wedding photography isn’t just about being there for the first kiss or the big moments you know will happen. But about the meaningful side moments that happen along the way. ♥️

when you choose me to be your wedding photographer…

You’re choosing someone who’s going to look for the obvious moments that are going to happen, but also for the ones you can’t plan to happen. From the exhausted getting ready seconds before more chaos begins to get bridal ready to the peeks at the dress to the tears during the speeches. (At one wedding *i* was the one in tears).

Choosing me as your photographer means you choose the planner, but also the one who looks for those moments you can’t put on a notecard or shot list. I’m there for all of it.
