SO many of you have been asking about fall (thank you!) and while I really wanted to have the calendar up, I have not finalized everything yet.
I am making final decisions on days and locations being offered, as things will look a bit different this year! I will send out a newsletter with the booking page link soon. And in the meantime, cheers to summer! ☀️☀️☀️

Sometimes I walk into a home and everything just immediately clicks. The light is beautiful, the energy is easy, and everyone settles into the session like we’ve known each other for years (even though I just met this sweet fam!)

Newborn sessions at home are never about perfect posing or making everything look untouched by real life. They’re about documenting what this season actually feels like. The tiny details, sleepy snuggles, proud siblings, soft light, and the kind of love that already feels like it’s always been there.

Newborn sessions aren’t just about taking photos.

They’re slow. Flexible. A little unpredictable.
And honestly, that’s exactly how they should be.

I’m not walking in with a rigid plan.
I’m walking in ready to meet your baby, your kids, and you exactly where you are that day.

We pause. We reset. We go with it.
And somewhere in all of that, we create photos that actually feel like your life.

One of the coolest parts of my job is getting to photograph the same families year after year.

I’ve worked with this crew for a long time now, and watching their kids grow up in front of my camera has been so fun. ❤️

When we first started doing photos together they were younger. Still a little wiggly, still needing some direction, still figuring out what to do during a session.

Now they’re basically running the show.

Exploring Waterloo Park, climbing rocks, racing down the paths, joking with their parents, and fully leaning into the adventure.

Older kid sessions are honestly underrated. They’re relaxed, full of personality, and the photos start to feel less like “family photos” and more like documenting who your kids actually are at this stage.

I adore this family and feel really lucky I get to keep telling their story as it evolves. 🥹✨

It’s been a heavy week.

Beautiful weather here in Texas, but also the kind of news that makes you pause for a minute.

Walking into a home like this shifts things back into perspective.

A brand new baby.
Two parents figuring it out together.
A quiet house that suddenly feels very full.

No perfect poses.
No pressure.

Just the beginning of a family of three.

There is something wild about being pregnant while parenting.

You’re growing a baby.
You’re lifting a toddler.
You’re answering 47 snack requests.
You’re trying not to cry because you’re exhausted.

It’s a lot.

And it’s also beautiful in a very real, unfiltered way.

Maternity sessions with families aren’t about perfection. They’re about documenting the season where love expands and everyone is adjusting.
