Happy anniversary to these love birds! Ever wondered what you do when it rains on your wedding day? You grab the clear umbrellas and run outside during the breaks in the sprinkles ☔️✨

A little rain didn’t slow this celebration down—it made it even more romantic. The soft drizzle, the vineyard air, and a glowing tent tucked in the middle of Camp Lucy’s vineyards created the dreamiest atmosphere for the evening.

Sometimes the most magical moments happen in between the weather—those quick dashes outside, the laughter under umbrellas, and the way the light reflects off the raindrops. It turned into the warmest, most intimate night surrounded by vines, glowing lights, and all the love.

Proof that a little rain on your wedding day just adds to the story 🤍

Happy Anniversary Amanda & Jamie! We're floored yet again as we look back on their colorful, joy-filled wedding at Hotel South Congress 🌈✨

Pearl Events transformed the space with a ceiling covered in a rainbow of metallic streamers, creating the most playful ballroom and modern backdrop. The aisles and a semi-circular altar outlined with the most gorgeous spring blooms by the one and only Bouquets of Austin. Vibrant & lush florals paired with all that shimmering color overhead made the entire room feel alive.

What began as a whimsical ceremony instantly shifted into a full-on festive dance party the moment the celebration began. I whole-heartedly believe that the best design choices are the ones that spark joy the second you step inside. Still smiling thinking about this!

Once upon a time… a sweet little baby was on the way. 🎀

Guests were welcomed to the baby shower luncheon by balloons & book pages framing a giant “Once Upon A Time” scroll—setting the stage for a celebration straight out of a classic storybook. From beautifully decorated cookies to cuddly stuffies like Mother Goose herlsef, every little detail was thoughtfully executed.

And the cake? Each section featured themes inspired by classic nursery rhymes and beloved children’s books, turning dessert into a playful guessing game. Can you tell which stories inspired each design? 📚🧸

One of our favorite parts of what we do at Cory Ryan Photography is that the story doesn’t end on the wedding day. We’re honored to photograph so many of life’s chapters after “I do”—from baby showers to family portraits and everything in between. Getting to see our clients year after year and watch their families grow is truly one of the most special parts of our job. 🤍

Rehearsal dinners deserve just as much love as the wedding day itself 🤍

They’re the quiet, meaningful prelude to everything that’s about to unfold — a smaller, more intimate gathering where couples can slow down and truly connect with the people who traveled near and far to celebrate them. It’s a chance to welcome your out-of-town friends and family, share stories, laugh a little louder, and ease into the weekend surrounded by your closest circle.

The pressure is off, the outfits are a little more relaxed, and the energy is full of anticipation. Those in-between moments — walking into dinner together, clinking glasses, stealing a quiet second before the celebration begins — often become some of the most genuine photos of the entire weekend.

This one at Lonesome Dove Steakhouse set the tone perfectly: warm light, incredible food, and a room filled with the people who mean the most. The best way to start a wedding weekend ✨
