🗡️ A new cycle begins when you intentionally let go of what no longer serves you, making space for something brighter and more aligned with where you’re actually going.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the future lately. The ideas and habits that got me here are not necessarily the ones that will get me there. And while I may not have the words yet for exactly what I’m stepping into, what I do know is that I have a crew that will support and vibe with me all the way through it. And for that, I am deeply grateful.

El Nido, day 2. For our second tour day, we managed to be on the same boat we were on the day before. More time on the water and less time waiting on shore.

One of my cousins got a call during a roadtrip we had in the Philippines. I could tell that whatever the call was about, it was either unnecessary, unwanted, or simply not worth his energy. He literally had family over that he hasn’t seen in years.

In one graceful but assertive tone, he says “are you aware that it’s a Sunday?”

And hangs up the phone.

His actions reminded me that not everything is worth a second of your time. Especially when the person on the other end of the line doesn’t care that they’re wasting yours.

Here’s my PSA to say yes to rest, breath, simplicity, and uncomplicated mess. Just like JJ’s doing in this editorial portrait. Be like my cousin. Be like JJ 😂

More photos from my vacation to the Philippines, but this time it’s with cosmic chaos. I remember asking them if they saw any of their collections against the sand and water and it was so wonderful to take these pieces on the trip with me to El Nido and everywhere else I went. The pins at the end are against my favorite skirt from Sasa Indigo and one of the beddings I remember using as a kid.

Congratulations for an amazing release show last Sunday for his new album “Right Here, Right Now,” at . It was incredibly heartwarming seeing Filipino culture celebrated as part of the vibrancy of live music in this city.

You don’t expect to hear bits of Tagalog in country music, and those moments were some of my favorite parts of the night.

Thanks for working with me to build the visual world around this release.
