The tiniest details change way too fast. 🤍

As a new mom, I have a front-row seat to it happening. I always knew it would go quickly, but somehow it still feels unbelievable and incredible at the same time.

I love newborn sessions that let me capture both the sweet portraits and all the tiny details and moments in between, especially those little fingers and sleepy cuddles. 🤍

Today is National Nonprofit Day 🤍

Nonprofit work has been a huge part of my life for years, and it has taken me to some pretty incredible places, including Uganda, where this photo was taken.

I’ve gotten to see firsthand the incredible work that small organizations can do when people believe in a mission and choose to come alongside it.

So when I realized National Nonprofit Day was falling just a few days after officially relaunching Cassidy Marie Photography, I absolutely couldn’t ignore the opportunity to use this little platform and passion of mine to give back! What a perfect way to bring two parts of my life together. 🤍

Thirteen years ago, I picked up a camera and started trying my hand at photography.

My first real client was a senior session for one of my best friends. I photographed her senior photos alongside another good friend of mine. Those two friends are now married with a beautiful baby boy, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of photographing their wedding and their son’s newborn photos.

I think that story says so much about why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

I fell in love with the relationships it captures and the way photographs let us hold onto people, seasons, and memories as life keeps moving forward.

And somewhere along the way, photography began growing right alongside me.

I photographed seniors when I was one. I photographed weddings while planning my own. I spent years documenting pregnancies, newborns, and growing families, and now I’m incredibly grateful to be living some of those seasons myself.

Thirteen years later, I’m married, we welcomed our sweet little girl this year, and a dream I’ve carried since I was 18 is becoming a reality: building a career that allows me to continue creating and providing while spending more of my days at home with my family.

It’s also why I love being a full-service photographer. I get to photograph clients through so many chapters of life; as seniors become couples, couples become families, and little ones grow.

I’ve had the honor of documenting everything from first breaths to last photographs that later became treasured reminders of someone deeply loved. The significance of that has never been lost on me.

Big milestones or seemingly ordinary moments, they all matter.

As I step into this new season, it felt like the perfect time for my business to grow alongside me too.

So I’m incredibly excited to officially welcome you to Cassidy Marie Photography. 🤍

The branding may be new, but the heart behind it isn’t.

This business has carried me through so many seasons of life, and I can’t help but see God’s faithfulness woven through every one of them.
