I’ve been a little quiet over here this summer. Between having my kids home and a calendar full of studio sessions, social media has definitely taken a back seat.
But I can’t complain because I’ve had the sweetest families in front of my camera, including this beautiful maternity session.

Peru... what an incredible country. 🇵🇪

We explored the vibrant streets and world-class food of Lima, wandered through the breathtaking Sacred Valley, stood in awe of the magic of Machu Picchu, discovered the charm and history of Cusco, and ended our adventure deep in the Amazon rainforest.

Every destination felt completely different. Ancient civilizations, towering mountains, lush jungles, unforgettable wildlife, and some of the best food we’ve ever had- all in one country.

Peru exceeded every expectation. The landscapes, the history, the culture, and the warmth of the people made this a trip we’ll never forget.

I’m sure it feels like they were just walking into kindergarten yesterday. As my own kids are getting older, I’m realizing more and more how quickly time flies.

I imagine graduation feels a little bittersweet for moms. You spend years packing lunches, helping with homework, cheering from the sidelines, and being there for all the little moments in between. Then suddenly, you’re watching your baby step into this next chapter.

To all the moms, take it all in. You helped shape the person standing in that cap and gown, and that is something worth celebrating too!

I spend my days capturing moments in this studio…�but this time, it’s mine!

My kids and our pup, just as they are right now… playful, growing, and already so different from those early years.
Somewhere along the way, the little years became big kid years… and it happened so quietly. This season looks different, but it deserves to be remembered just as much.

In the same natural light studio where I photograph newborn and family sessions, I’m reminding myself to document my own too.
