My friends I am sorry for being so MIA and slow at responding, we moved recently (can’t wait to share a bit more about that), and with this heat I ended up getting pretty sick 😭

Things have settled a bit now and I’m slowly unpacking and getting back into my routine.

Ethan did such an incredible job on the day of our photoshoot that his session has become one of my all time favorites ever!!!

If you’re a mom let me chat with you real quick: I know your son may tell you he doesn’t want senior pictures, and you might be worried “he’s too shy”, but I promise you all he needs is 1 hour with me, my camera, some clear guidance through the poses, a Texas sunset and the rest is magic! ✨

It doesn’t need to be hugely elaborate, we just need to plan it out in a way that we can get a lot out of our time. Like this shoot here with Ethan! Would you believe me if I said it was just a 1 hour shoot??! 🤯

I’m telling you mama’s, all your son (and everyone for that matter) needs for a successful photoshoot is GUIDANCE. And lucky for you, that’s my specialty 🥳✨🙏🏽

Congrats to all these baddies walking the stage this weekend and summer!!!! You all did amazing! We worked in the heat of the summer but boy was it WORTH ITTTTT!!! Each and every single one of you did incredible despite it being a lot of y’all’s first times doing a shoot!!

Ahhh CARLAAAA!! 🥹😭🫶🏽 guys, this is Carla, and she and I went to highschool together! I have such vivid memories of our time in school and all the times she’d have me cackling and crying of laughter! It meant the world to me that she reached out for her graduation portraits after all these years, and I jumped at the opportunity! 🥳

For her shoot we did a two hour session (also in brutal humidity like my last post) where she brought two outfit changes, and her younger sister who is also graduating but from highschool!

We shot all over the TXST campus and got beautiful golden hour lighting that day!

Congratulations Sebastian!!! It was hot, it was humid, and it was AWESOME 😎🥳🍻

This TXST senior is graduating this summer with a degree in health sciences! He was president of his fraternity, involved in health orgs, got several honors recognitions, and earned every single bit of those margaritas at the end of our shoot 😆👏🏽

He has a two hour session where he brought his family, adorable pup, a couple of outfits and props, and we went everywhere on campus + the square.

What my clients see and hear during our shoot! 🥳 my sessions are for people who want and need guidance! Things you’ll never ever hear me say:
❌ok stand there and do your thing
❌ok now look nonchalant
❌do a pose
❌just do something with your hands

I am very specific with where to look, where to stand, where to rest your weight, how your head should be, etc. now this does NOT mean you’ll look stiff. If you go through my social media you’ll never see a pose that looks stiff, they all look natural but were ✨guided✨

Soniaaaa!! We had one heck of a shoot!! All this in just one hour, can you believe it!!? Now granted and worth noting: this was all possible because it was AFTER graduation, meaning the crowds of people were wayyyy gone.

She did absolutely incredible!! And it always blows me away to hear that you guys were nervous for the shoot because I genuinely can’t tell, you all do amazing every single time!!!

Abigail!!!! 🥳✨ A first gen queen graduating from TXST , who got Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Health and Fitness Management!!! 💅🏽✨👑

Yes yes yes yes!! We had an amazing shoot where she wanted dusk to night time photos because she loved the way the campus lights up at night 😎🌚✨

She brought a couple of outfits, her regalia, some flowers, stoles, hat, and all of it made for a great combination of outfits!

I’m team bring more outfits. More outfits mean more variety! Even if you just bright two outfits, it’ll make it so that your album isn’t repetitive. We’re able to do more variety of poses, have different vibes and overall, why wouldn’t you want a little whimsy in your senior portraits!? 🥳

Is it a detail so small that no one would notice? Maybe. But *I* notice, and that’s reason enough for it to go! 😂

As a reminder, my fall calendar is booking! October Saturday’s are booked and gone! 🥳 usually what happens this time of the year is that once August 1st hits then BAM! Everyone inquired at once and dates start booking up back to back to back.

This high school student will be starting her life as a Marine this fall! 😎👏🏽 she had a vision: golden hour, nature, and lots of flowers. I drove to several location ideas and I think we nailed it! 🥳

She did amazing! We had a one hour shoot, she was very nervous at first but super clearly took my direction well and within minutes was loving the experience! She had two outfits, a couple props related to her hs and the marines, and OH! Did I mention she took advantage of the early college start program and graduated highschool with an associates degree already!?!

She’s a QUEEN!!! Congratulations Mara!!! 🥳🎓
