Have you sent out your holiday cards yet??? I love walking to get the mail this time of year! We are starting to receive cards from our friends and family and simply love seeing all of their growing families :)

Who says you can’t wear brown and black together?!?

I think the number one question I get asked before a session is “What should we wear??” My family and friends can all attest that I am no fashionista so when this family showed up so perfectly coordinated it made my heart sing!!!

I like to tell families…
1. Coordinate but don’t necessarily match and most importantly
2. Be yourselves!! It’s so important to be true to yourself and your style that makes you feel wonderful, comfortable, and a little special to make for the best photo session experiences!

I remember as a kid having to wear this floral dress straight out of a country living magazine that I was so uncomfortable in and I was frowning in ALL of the family pictures! (Love you mom, but ya know it’s true!)

Babies! Babies! Babies!

I’m loving all of these summer baby newborn sessions!! There’s no better way to beat the heat than a sweet snuggle with a squishy newborn ❤️

It’s amazing how fast babies change and grow in the first weeks after you bring them home. Make sure to capture all of these precious first moments with a newborn photography session.
