Brittany & Gil didn’t want a traditional wedding. They wanted an experience.

So they brought their 30 closest people to San Francisco, said their vows on the top floor of City Hall, boarded a trolley through the city streets, climbed onto a boat that took them under the Golden Gate Bridge and past Alcatraz at golden hour — and ended the night around a long table at an Italian restaurant, toasting to all of it.

We’ve photographed a lot of weddings. This one felt like a movie.

I think a lot of people pass on maternity photos thinking, “I’ll have plenty photos of me pregnant” from the collection of iPhone and quick images day to day. But, I truly love maternities, they’re such a beautiful pause for reflection before such an incredible life transition.

If it’s your first baby, it’s the last session with just the two of you, while your little one is still growing, savoring the calm before the (beautiful) chaos.

If it’s your second (or beyond), savoring the moments of your family as-is before adding another incredible little one to the group and letting your older children soak in the excitement and love.

We celebrated ten years married a few days ago and, how lucky am I that I can genuinely say I’ve laughed and smiled every single day for the last ten years. I’m in awe over this life we’ve created together, Talon. It all just keeps getting better and better. 🤍 Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it, really. (Oh also we took Auggie to Paris to celebrate and didn’t share any of it because, well, life is fast these days 😂)

We are so excited to see Ansley & Jonathan’s wedding weekend on ! A&J are warm and inviting and intentional, and their family & friends came ready to PARTY. It was a maximalist’s dreamland, a fever dream of a weekend with an insanely talented vendor team. This is just a small glimpse in to some of our favorite images from their wedding day, narrowing down to just this felt impossible. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the magic of this weekend, it was one for the storybooks. ✨
