This career has already opened doors I didn’t even know to look for.

When Kathleen asked if I’d come to Ireland to provide content creation for her wedding, I said yes without hesitation. I knew it was within my skill set, but more than that, I knew I could document her day from the perspective I know best—a wedding photographer.

K + JC had already surrounded themselves with an incredible team of women: two photographers, two videographers, their wedding planner—and then me, the content creator. Ha.

My job was to document the day from inside of it. Less like another vendor looking in and more like the best friend who happened to have a camera in her hand.

And what an experience.

I spent the day working over the shoulders of four incredibly talented women, alongside the woman orchestrating the entire thing—their planner The Art and Romance | Luxury Weddings | Events | Styling —watching a vision they had all worked so hard on come to life in front of me.

Somewhere in between documenting it all on my phone, I was able to steal a few frames for myself with my newest loves: my film cameras.

These were documented on 35mm and 120 medium format, both on Portra 400.

There’s something kind of surreal about looking at these now. I went to Ireland with a completely different role than I’m used to, came home inspired by the women I worked alongside, and got to make art in the middle of it all.

Still a little amazed that I get to call this “work.”

Because somewhere along the way, photography became so much more than my career, it became my passion.

A first look into Rebekah & Josh’s wedding day in the countryside of Pisa, Italy.

The venue felt timeless. It was the kind of place that naturally slowed everything down and invited you to be fully present. Everywhere you looked there was history, beautiful architecture, and another story waiting to be discovered. Rebekah and Josh’s wedding became one more chapter within those historic walls.

The morning unfolded slowly, with a beautiful breakfast spread, the smell of fresh espresso, and the quiet excitement that comes before a wedding day. Before seeing each other, they each took a few moments to fine-tune the vows that would later bring both tears and laughter to the people who know them best.

The light was everything photographers dream of—soft, warm, and effortless.

As the sun slipped lower, everyone gathered for a candlelit dinner that embraced the slower pace of Italy. Wine was poured, Frank Sinatra played in the background, conversations lingered, and no one seemed to be in a hurry. The evening quietly drifted from golden hour into moonlight, and it was one of those nights you wish could last just a little longer.

I can’t wait to share more from this unforgettable day.

For the first time I feel completely in tune with my work.

Not just with my editing, but with the way I see.

I’m finally creating images that look the way they feel in my heart.

When I’m photographing people, I’m completely present.

I notice the nervous smile someone tries to hide. The smile they can’t help but let out. The glance someone gives the person they love when they think no one is watching. And then the split second their eyes meet again—the little burst of excitement, the warmth, the electricity that passes between them.

I think that’s what I’m finally understanding: I photograph what I’m drawn to. The things that make me pause are usually the same things the people in front of my camera will treasure years from now.

I don’t just love photography.

I love people. I love connection. I love the quiet language between two people who know each other deeply. I love the moments that happen before anyone realizes they’re becoming memories.

I love love.

And I think that’s exactly what my photographs have been trying to say all along.

Taylor and Marcus’ wedding day was one of the most relaxed and joy-filled weddings I’ve ever been a part of. Their guests consisted of their parents and a handful of their closest friends.

The ceremony was one for the books. My cheeks hurt from smiling. The way these two looked at one another at the altar felt like something straight out of a rom-com — just completely smitten.

A cake cutting, a champagne bottle that practically popped itself, and an iconic first dance led into an intimate dinner at a vineyard. One long table, endless laughter, incredible food, and cheesecake to end the night.

Cheers to Mr. And Mrs. Grant ❤️‍🔥

A Capitol engagement.

It’s one of the most sought-after locations — and for good reason. The architecture, the scale, the light… it all speaks for itself.

I’ve photographed here enough to know it well — which means I’m not just chasing the obvious shots. It gives me the space to create something new each time through light, direction, and a different perspective.
