ရဲမှူးကြီး Todd Chamberlain လက်ထက်တွင် သက်တမ်းကုန်ဆုံးသွားသော ယာဉ်မှတ်ပုံတင်ထားသော ယာဉ်မောင်းများအပေါ် အရေးယူမှုများ ပိုမိုတင်းကျပ်လာခြင်း
APD ရဲမှူးကြီး Todd Chamberlain လက်ထက်တွင် ဇန်နဝါရီလမှ စက်တင်ဘာလအထိ Aurora ရဲဌာန (APD) သည် သက်တမ်းကုန်ဆုံးသွားသော မှတ်ပုံတင်ထားသော ယာဉ်များအတွက် လက်မှတ် ၅၀၀၀ ကျော် ရေးသားခဲ့သည်။ စက်တင်ဘာလတစ်လတည်းတွင် လိုင်စင်နံပါတ်မပါသော ယာဉ်များအပါအဝင် သက်တမ်းကုန်ဆုံးသွားသော မှတ်ပုံတင်ထားသော ယာဉ်မောင်းများအား လက်မှတ် ၅၀၀ ပေးအပ်ခဲ့သည်။
ထို့အပြင် Aurora ၏ "Three Strikes Rule" အရ ယာဉ်မောင်းတစ်ဦးသည် ယာဉ်ရပ်နားခံရပြီး လက်ရှိယာဉ်မှတ်ပုံတင်မရှိ၊ တရားဝင်လိုင်စင်မရှိ၊ အာမခံမရှိသည့်အခါ ထိုယာဉ်များကို ချက်ချင်းသိမ်းဆည်းပြီး သိမ်းဆည်းမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ယာဉ်မောင်းသည် သင့်လျော်သောကာလအတွင်း လိုအပ်ချက်သုံးခုလုံးကို တင်ပြနိုင်ခြင်းမရှိပါက ယာဉ်ကို လေလံတင်ရောင်းချပြီး ရရှိသောငွေဖြင့် ယာဉ်ကို သိမ်းဆည်းခြင်း၏ ကုန်ကျစရိတ်ကို ကာမိပြီး ကျန်ငွေကို Aurora မြို့သို့ ပေးအပ်မည်ဖြစ်သည်။

Under Chief Todd Chamberlain, Enforcement on Drivers with Expired Vehicle Registrations Getting Tougher
Under APD Chief Todd Chamberlain, from January through September, the Aurora Police Department (APD) has written over 5,000 tickets for vehicles with expired registrations. In September alone, 500 tickets were given to drivers with expired registrations to include vehicles without license plates.
In addition, under Aurora's "Three Strikes Rule," when a driver is pulled over and doesn't have a current vehicle registration, doesn't have a valid license, and has no insurance, those vehicles are immediately seized, impounded, and unless the driver can produce all three requirements within a reasonable period of time, the vehicle is sold at auction with the proceeds covering the cost of impounding the vehicle with the balance going to the City of Aurora.
From January through September, 1,061 vehicles have been seized under the "Three Strikes Rule."
