This year I was blessed with seeing these families. I love seeing them thriving in this life! Next year be on the look out for new locations and new opportunities for quick mini sessions come fall!! I will be doing two weekends for fall shoots, locations in Aurora and Goodman. Cannot wait for 2026 to come! Cheers!! A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to take my husband's and my extended family photos. I suggested this years ago and we were all finally able to come together and get it done. We met out in the woods at their camp and braved the chilly temps. The on and off again heavy snowfall made it all so magical. Everyone did so well (even the biggest boys survived the shoot). This sweet family came and checked out some new locations with me and it's safe to say, I'm more than pleased. I cannot wait to do Fall Mini Sessions next year at these locations. This little family braved the windy day and chilly temperatures and ended up with some awesome shots. I always love seeing them and laughing with them all. A few weeks ago, I had the challenge and privilege of taking my own family's extended photos. These would be our first since 2018, yes, 7 years later...we finally made it happen. I love how these turned out. We headed to my parents' backyard and with the help of my tripod, timer, my excellent running skills, a few bribes (to the little ones and the big boys)...we made it happen! When I was asked to capture this family shoot I will be the first to admit that I was a little nervous, but seriously just look at these sweet little ones rocking their session. They were such great little kiddos! Thank you to the Garrelts family for inviting me to their home to capture some super sweet smiles!
