One of my favorite things about Santa Sessions?

Watching the same little faces grow up.

One year they’re peeking around the corner...
The next they’re proudly telling Santa about baseball, ballet, new baby siblings, or what they’re hoping to find under the tree.

Those tiny changes become some of the sweetest memories.

🎅 Santa Week is here!

It’s hard to believe this is our 10th year of Santa Sessions! Over the past decade, I’ve watched tiny toddlers become big kids, welcomed new siblings, and had the privilege of documenting so many Christmas memories for your families.

🎅 Santa Session season is officially here! 🎅

I can hardly believe this is our 10th year of Santa Sessions! What started as a small Christmas tradition has become one of my favorite parts of each year, and I’m so grateful to all of the families who have made it so special.

The 2026 Santa Session Guide has officially been emailed and includes this year’s dates, booking information, pricing, and all the details for this season.

If you were expecting the email and don’t see it (be sure to check your spam and promotions folders!), send me a message and I’ll be happy to send it your way.

Back to work today after some much needed time away with my people!

It’s a full court press for the next 7 days as I’m working through a zillion emails, inquiries, messages and photos to edit while finalizing preparations for Santa and Fall Mini Session releases next week. Personality Portrait sessions are all about capturing who they are right now—the quirky habits, favorite outfits, beloved treasures, and the wonderfully unique little things that make this season of childhood unforgettable.

Bring their favorite costume, accessories, hobbies, collections, or anything that makes them light up, and we’ll create portraits that feel like them.

One of my favorite traditions is almost here... Santa Sessions are back on November 18 & 19, and I can’t wait to welcome so many familiar faces (and hopefully some new ones, too!).

These sessions are one of the most anticipated events I offer each year, and they always fill quickly. To make booking as stress-free as possible, I’m once again offering early access before registration opens to the public.

🧑‍🎄 Current Natalie Thompson Photography clients (families who have booked a session between July 2025 and December 2026) will receive the booking link first on Thursday, July 31 at 10:00 a.m. Opening booking early for clients feels like a small way I can say “thank you” for your continued support and for trusting me to capture your family’s memories year after year!

🧑‍🎄 Nice List Subscribers will receive early access on Saturday, August 1 at 10:00 a.m.

🧑‍🎄 Registration opens to the general public on Monday, August 3 at 10:00 a.m.

Not a current client yet? Any 2026 newborn, family, milestone, senior, heirloom, or branding session booked by July 31 qualifies you for current client status—even if your session takes place later this year—giving you first access to Santa registration.
