To us, kinda chic means having what not everyone gets to have. But with us, you get it all.

The trust that lets you be fully present. The excitement of actually enjoying your time in front of the camera. The reassurance that it’s not just you being taken care of, your friends and family are too. And more than anything, knowing your wedding investment is being preserved with the intention, care, and discretion every couple deserves, but not everyone gets.

Recently with Easton Events on Kiawah island.

An evening that felt as thoughtfully designed as it was welcoming. Set against the marshes of Kiawah Island, guests gathered around a sweeping curved table layered in rich hues sharing Lowcountry favorites family-style. From playful fortune scratch-offs to fortuneteller miracle fish tucked into each place setting, every detail invited conversation, connection, and a memorable start to the celebration.

A funky evening for sure, but an evening more memorable one for Emily & Craig.

Spending years photographing luxury weddings has quietly shaped the way I gather people around my own table. Thoughtful details, meaningful conversation, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome will always matter most.

It’s funny how your career starts to influence the way you live. I couldn’t help but obsess over the little details for this birthday dinner, but the greatest joy was simply having the people I love together.

As photographers, we spend so much time preserving other people’s celebrations that we rarely stop to create one of our own. This was such a sweet reminder that the best gatherings aren’t remembered for their tablescapes alone, they’re remembered for how they made everyone feel.
