I had the absolute pleasure of spending time at the Southern Maine Coastal Classic at the Cumberland Fairgrounds yesterday, and despite the rain, I was very happy to have gotten to meet some amazing dogs and take photos throughout the day! 🐾

On occasion we are blessed with being able to foster dogs from Maine Greyhound Placement Service. These two girls, Princess and Porter, are a couple available greyhounds waiting for their forever homes that are currently in Camp Half Hound’s care.

Princess (fawn female) is a spunky girl who is always down for fun, but would do better in a home without small fluffy critters, though she has been very good with medium sized dogs while here and seems very workable overall.

Porter (black female) is a sweet older girl who is very much looking for her own bed and a home to go with it. Honestly this girl has it all—playful attitude but a phenomenal off button, and overall such a sweet soul. So far she is very intrigued by smaller pups but respectful if they ask for space!
