“Freedom is never free.” 🇺🇸

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who fought for our country and made the ultimate sacrifice so we could live the lives we do today. Their courage, strength, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

Our small town showed its heart beautifully with today’s demonstration honoring those we’ve lost in service to the USA. Seeing the community come together in remembrance was a powerful reminder that even the smallest towns carry the deepest gratitude.

We were also honored to have Congressman Derrick Van Orden stop by and give an incredible speech honoring our military, veterans, and the sacrifices made for this country. His words carried both pride and respect for those who have served and those we’ve lost.

❤️🤍💙 Thank you to all who served, all who continue to serve, and especially those who gave everything for this country!

☀️ Sometimes photography becomes so much more than showing up, taking pictures, and sending over a gallery.

Sometimes you meet a beautiful young woman for a photoshoot and unexpectedly leave with a friendship.

Somewhere between the laughs, conversations, and moments in between, a connection started growing too.

Watching people step in front of my camera and leave a lasting impact outside of the photos will always be one of my favorite parts of this journey.

The pictures turned out beautiful… but the friendship that followed may have been the real gift. 🤍

When a community shows up for one of their own, it’s a powerful thing to witness.

Brian and his family were truly at the heart of this night. The love and support surrounding them was something you could feel the moment you walked in.

Brian, your strength and the way your community has rallied around you is powerful to witness. You and your family are surrounded by so many people rooting for you.

A huge thank you to the incredible musicians who gave their time and talent to the night — Thistledown, Blaine & Leah Howard, Red Sky Warning, and Dames. I may have missed the last two sets while wrapping up for the evening, but I’m so grateful I was able to be there to photograph the opening acts and the energy that kicked off such a meaningful night.

Events like this are a reminder that when someone in the community needs support, people show up — and that’s something really beautiful to see. Thank you for allowing me to capture it. 🤍📷
