โWhy are you spraying smoke everywhere?โ ๐
This is actually one of the more common questions I get from both parents and seniors. And if their mouth doesnโt say it, their face definitely doesโusually right around the time they start ducking away from me. ๐
Listen, I realize thereโs usually a brief moment during a senior session when I pull out a can and start spraying something into the air around you where youโre probably questioning your life choices.
I promise, itโs Atmosphere Aerosol โitโs non-toxic, and Iโm not trying to gas your child. ๐
Because sometimes good light needs a little help becoming really good light.
The haze gives the light something to catch. It makes those beautiful rays visible, adds depth, softens things up, and can turn an ordinary little pocket of sunlight into something that feels straight out of a movie.
Do I need it at every session? Nope.
Do I carry it around like I might? Absolutely. ๐
Itโs one of those tiny things that can completely change the way a photograph feels.
Basically: trust the weird s**t your photographer does.
Thereโs usually a reason. ๐
