Last October, my friend Lara called to share that she would be undergoing a double mastectomy following a cancer diagnosis. News like that is never easy to hear—but in true Lara fashion, she chose to face it with strength and intention.

She asked if I would help her create something powerful before that chapter began. Something that honored her body, her courage, and this moment in her story.

These images are the result.

Since then, Lara has undergone chemotherapy and will soon continue her fight with radiation. Through every step of it, she has shown what resilience truly looks like. She is a warrior in every sense of the word.

This Saturday, March 7th, friends and family will be gathering in Worcester for the Love for Lara fundraiser to support her during this journey.
