I get to spend my whole day tomorrow at the Kimbrough Early Learning Center taking school photos for the most energetic awesome kids with the priceless assistance from some of these fine people. I'm a lucky guy.

The skies were electrified tonight. Thankfully it seems all the storms have passed without much damage to the community. I love thunderstorms and would normally be lulled to sleep by this one, except it was just so bright. I had to go see what was going on...

Needless to say, I was impressed.

Thanksgiving means more to me this year than most. I am thankful for the past 5 years I've had with my mother. I'm thankful she was a part of my step-daughter's and wife's lives. I'm thankful for Bob for taking care of her and letting her experience the world with him. I'm thankful for family coming together and for the strength of the love and support we share with one another. I'm thankful for my wife for continuing to make me a better person, and for being the rock of our family. I'm thankful for my friends that truly care for me and are willing to let me need them.

This Thanksgiving, and every day, make sure you take a look at the things you have, and not at the things you don't. We take so much for granted in our "first world" lives. Notice, and give thanks, for everything you have. Today's gift is not guaranteed tomorrow, so take it all in and live life to it's fullest.

So here's something off the beaten path... We covered the National Benefit Auctions (a division of Littlejohn Auctions) Zombie Walk last night. And out of nowhere, a flashmob of zombies filled the street performing Michael Jackson's Thriller!!! It was awesome.
