where i’ve been 🤎

we’ve had the sweetest few months soaking in every second and every detail of our baby girl. considering myself so very lucky that i’ve been allowed to. she’s given everything more meaning to me — one big perspective change in one tiny body.

life and heart is fuller than it’s ever been!!!

would you believe me if i told you they’d never had pictures done before this?! bc, shook.

one day a stranger messages you about a session and the next, your overly obsessed with them and already planning the next one 🥲🫶🏼

so thankful they trusted me enough to go through with their session on a gloomy, cloudy day. i promise you, they can be just as good as the pretty ones as long as you embrace it. it really can bring a certain kind of “warmth” to your session — and that’s forever underrated to me.

i blinked and somehow made it past halfway through my pregnancy without making this known on this corner of the internet! the belly looks a little different now, so i figured it was probably time 🤭

i wish i could explain to you in one quick sentence how much memory and meaning was thrown into this one little evening in TN. but i also just want these images to do a lot of the speaking themselves. as for me, i’ll stuff every picture of this gallery into a photo book one day and remember the purity and fullness this season of carrying our first baby has been to me and my husband. we’ll never get it back, and as much as we are ready for her to be here, i don’t mind sitting in this certain kind of season and stillness for a little longer.

over-delivered and put her special touch on this time for us, once again 🫶🏼 i’ll never shut up about it. invest in the photographers you love. it makes the memory that much more precious with their talent attached to it.

you’ll never get it back. future you will thank you for it.
