I have to admit, when Hunter asked me to photograph his marriage proposal to his girlfriend, Jess, I did a little heel-kick in my mind because I was so excited! She had been wanting updated couple photos so it was the perfect time to slip in a little proposal at the end of their session! Throw in that it was like -12 degrees and downtown had all the wind, but they forgot all about the cold when she turned around to him getting down on one knee!
Big shoutout to The Alamo Springfield for letting us come hang out for a while before we went out and braved the cold!

Even though they just had their son a few days ago, throwing it back a few weeks to when we got together for their sweet maternity session! Congrats, Edwards Family!

Lucky and blessed. Not only did I get to meet sweet Colston on his birth day, but I got to photograph his big sister, Magnolia, meeting him for the first time too! Literally brought tears to my eyes seeing the love she already had for her baby brother!

I swear I'm still here! But this busy season of life with a fresh 6 year-old, full-time job, and trying to juggle it all has me burning the fuse at both ends some days!
Proof that I'm still around and very much still photographing friends, families, and everything in between -----> The Cagles and Dixons!
We had the sweetest little session among the wildflowers just before sunset a few weeks back. We were blessed to be able to frolic around the beautiful flowers of Star Meadows Flower Farm a few days after they closed for the season and these cute boys brought the CHARM! Right before we concluded, the boys got to play around with their Grampy's old toolbelt and tools, which was extra special as Mike sadly passed away last year. Hoping they cherish these sweet little memories with him included for years to come.

I was really nervous we'd see a winter with no snow, but we totally lucked out! Had a beautiful snowy backdrop at Lincoln Memorial Garden and we even got some flurries during our session!
