I can't express my thanks enough to Rebecca and Jessica for helping me in making my vision a reality. Jessica blew me away with her makeup ability and Rebecca with her ability to convey emotion through really simple prompts and poses.

Hello All! Its been quite a long time since I’ve had the chance to engage with my community on this page but I’ve been working on something for much some time now and I believe I’m ready to come forward!

About a year ago I took the last big step in my photography and invested money into some more serious equipment. I’ve learned a lot and taken a ton of photos over the course of the last year but I’ve never really seen photography as a way out of my 9-5. It has truly always been about the art and I’ve typically been so hesitant at asking people for money for allowing me to take pictures of them. In the last year I’ve made tons of art, learned lots of lessons and gotten feedback on my photography.

After Careful consideration I believe it’s the right decision to take the next step forward and go through a bit of a rebranding phase. As a start I’ve made the decision to change my name from “leftypics” to “StudioME”. The nickname lefty has always been reserved for close friends and family so using that name always felt a bit tacky. I want my community to take me a bit more serious and know that I love what I do and I work hard to produce the highest quality product.

Secondly I want to start engaging with my community more. I’ve underutilized not only my platform but my own techincal skillset as well and neglected sharing the art I make with the people who support my platform. I’ve registered a domain and I’m in the process of building a website. I’ve started to explore digital media and graphic design in my downtime and I’m also going to attempt to be more active here on Facebook and retroactively share the photos I’ve taken over the last year or so.

If you’ve made it this far I appreciate you sticking around and I hope that through this I can continue to stretch my legs as an artist and provide you all with high quality photos that will last a lifetime. I’m keeping my prices super competitive and always willing to try the new and unusual! Thank you again for reading and have a great rest of your summer!
