Something NEW is here! 🎥✨

For the past two years, I've been investing in professional training and cinematic filmmaking education to bring an entirely new experience to Ashley Skow Photography. Today, I'm so excited to finally share my first completed highlight film!

What better way to introduce this new offering than with my sister Kelsey and her fiancé Seth's engagement video during their wedding week. ❤️

Photography will always be at the heart of what I do, but there is something incredibly powerful about preserving movement, laughter, emotion, and the moments in between. Video allows a story to be experienced in a completely different way.

I'm excited to begin offering cinematic video add-ons for Senior Sessions, Family Sessions, Harvest Sessions, Branding Sessions, and more.

This is just the beginning, and I can't wait to help my clients preserve their memories in an even more meaningful way. This will be available to add on once I'm back from Maternity Leave this fall!

The golden glow, the salt flats, the rich antique toned dress… Erin looked absolutely powerful standing out there like a modern day queen. Feminine, confident, strong, and completely unforgettable. 👏

These are the kinds of senior sessions I LOVE creating. Ones that feel artistic, bold, and fully customized to the senior instead of just repeating the same photos everyone else has.

Alyssa sitting by the lake soaking in the sunshine just feels like summer freedom. And fun fact… these were taken right in the middle of the day. 👏
You do not have to wait for sunset to create beautiful, bold, commercial quality senior portraits when you truly understand light. That’s one of my favorite parts of what I do. 🌎🤍

The red leather jacket, dramatic lighting, downtown parking garage vibes, and mixing professional flash with the ambient city light made these feel straight out of a magazine shoot. 👏

The pink suit, the industrial city vibes, the confidence… this session at the Capitol was giving total Super Girl energy in the BEST way. 💕🏙️⚡️

Strong. Bold. Confident. Like she’s ready to take on the world and senior year at the same time.

I love when seniors step outside the “traditional” look and create something that truly reflects their personality. These are the sessions people remember.

Abbie absolutely brought the Vogue energy with the bold striped pants and black outfit and these turned out straight out of a commercial shoot. 🖤

This is what professional lighting and understanding how to shape light can do. Creating bold, high end images almost anywhere is one of my favorite parts of the creative process.

From the boat dock to the tall grass and rocky shoreline, this entire senior session felt straight out of a dream at Salt Lake. Effortless, outdoorsy, and full of adventure from start to finish. 🤍

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is creating an experience that actually feels personal to each senior instead of forcing every session to look the same.

The 2027 calendar is filling quicker than ever already and I cannot wait for all of the adventures ahead this season. ☀️

Between the flowing red dress, the golden sunset, and Dani against the salt flats… every image from this part of the session turned out absolutely stunning. 🌅

Bold colors, movement, and that warm golden light will forever have my heart for senior sessions.
