Holy cow what a weekend! Such an amazing experience at getting to watch our short on the big screen amongst talented filmmakers who all share the love of ‘s Got to meet Ernie O’Donnell and Kimberly Loughran who play Rick Derris and Heather in Clerks!!! Kevin Smith has been such an inspiration for me over the years to never give up on this filmmaking dream of mine. This was amazing!

6.7.2020 Thousands of people showed up in downtown Plano yesterday to protest police brutality and racism. I admit that I have been part of the problem by not calling that s**t out when I’ve seen it, mostly out of fear of confrontation. But I’m white so I have the privilege of being able to look the other way. I have to do better. We have to do better. We have to make change and be a part of the solution. Sometimes; words have powerful meanings. I don’t know about you, but for me “sisters” is one of those words that has a powerful meaning. I don’t think it could be explained unless you were one. Or at the very least, had one. Much like the word “brother” can’t be explained unless you’re a “bro”. But man, to be a sister has to be something else. I feel extremely blessed and privileged to have so many sisters in my life. I look up to them very much and wish I could be as amazing as they are.
