Atlantic Beach's abandoned "Cultural Corridor," or the "Mayport Walls" sits along a busy stretch of the Beaches' bustling Mayport Road. This plot was supposed to host food trucks twice a month, and was part of an effort to revitalize the area. It has been nearly a year since an event has been hosted here. Now, however, the lot sits vacant and derelict, juxtaposed by several brightly-colored murals.

Just went to explore the Jack Russell Park weekend market on this cloudy morning. Every Sunday from 9:00-2:00 this market is held, where you can enjoy some live music, and find everything from coffee, to pizza, to intricate jewelry, all while taking in the nature around you. It's definitely worth checking out when you're in the Jax Beaches.
